Institutions using the Canadian LOA Verification System to issue and verify Letters of Acceptance remain the sole owners of their data. The aggregate data is owned by Languages Canada, a national non-profit governed by elected leaders from the international education sector and accountable to its membership across the country. Aggregate data is used for the advancement of international education and shared as needed with system users, partners, and governments.

The Canadian LOA Verification System was created and tested successfully in 2022. On April 3, 2023, a soft launch with full implementation will take place with a group of representative institutions from across Canada. The system will officially launch on October 1, 2023, at which point it will be available to all EduCanada brand eligible institutions.
